Silk is Black

As you probably know we hold over 110 different colours in Thai Silk for clerical shirts and blouses. This silk is washable and extremely comfortable to wear. It irons very easily. We recommend a gentle wash, low temperature, with light spin or alternatively hand wash. Always use a mild detergent. See Custom Shirts for more info and options.

We have decided to stock clerical shirts for women in Black Thai Silk. They will be available from 1st October 2011. Style will be the 1 inch tab collar (slip in collar), fly fronted, long sleeves. Dress sizes 10 – 22. We plan to stock a Black Thai Silk clerical shirt for men later this year.

Collar Collar is a relatively new manufacturer of clerical shirts and blouses. We offer probably the largest choice of fabrics and colours for clerical shirts in the United Kingdom and even the world! We learnt very early on that the clergy of today are looking for alternatives to the typical black or grey clerical shirt. Clergy Collar offers pure cotton, cotton rich, Oxford cotton, Thai silk, and pure linen fabrics. We offer plain colours and stripes in over 250 colours and did I mention real denim! This impressive collection and fine tailoring has certainly fed the demand.

We can pretty much do almost anything with a clerical shirt. In the past we made a two-tone shirt with contrasting panels. Not everyone’s cup of tea but it shows our versatility. Our speciality lies in custom and made to measure shirts. We are one of just a few left in the world that now undertakes this work but we have put everything into doing this.
